Initial model made from three planes
The model was then revised to include a void, which became the central element guiding the final project.
Using the void-based model as a foundation, along with an interpretation of a poem, we translated the design into Rhino to develop an inhabitable site that explores how abstract spatial relationships can support occupation and experience.
I chose the poem When I Am Among the Trees by Mary Oliver because it reminded me of the feeling of being in a treehouse, exploring different paths, and fully enjoying nature.
Initial model
Using the initial model, I transformed it into a site that captures the essence and feeling of a treehouse.
