I’ve always been drawn to design. Growing up, I loved watching Love It or List It, Flip or Flop, and Fixer Upper, which sparked my fascination with how spaces can transform people’s experiences. When it came time to choose a career, I was still figuring out the direction I wanted my future to take.
At Saint Joseph’s University, I chose to major in art because I knew I wanted to pursue something creative and design-oriented, even if I wasn’t sure what form that would take. I later added minors in graphic design and business to explore different directions and build a broader skill set. While I valued what I learned, I realized I was most inspired by the idea of shaping physical spaces. Creating an environment people can move through, interact with, and feel emotionally connected to.
That realization helped me fully embrace the passion for design I’ve carried since childhood and led me to pursue a Master of Architecture, where I can create meaningful spaces that engage both experience and emotion.
